KenBay - A Long History in Industrial Waste Disposal & Recycling
KenBay Engineering began operations in the United Kingdom over 20 years ago as a waste disposal company. They soon realized that over 80% of dumpster space was air. Being innovative, KenBay Engr. introduced the Rotorpac industrial trash compactors to increase the efficiency and cost effectiveness of industrial waste disposal.

The Rotorpac trash compactor was well received in the UK and Ireland before KenBay Waste Compaction Systems began operation in the US in 1995. Engineering advancements in the ensuing years have improved and refined the Rotorpac trash compactor. The present ownership in North America, KenBay, since June 2003 is proud to now offer the Rotorpac Clydesdale Trash Compactor, the epitome of continuous flow compaction.

Because of the background and experience of the present owners of KenBay they have focused on being very responsive to customer needs. Our approach is to help each prospect and/or client thoroughly understand their present costs and process and then evaluate what the KenBay equipment can return on their investment. Starting in early 2007 KenBay began manufacturing the Clydesdale Compactor in the US. In addition to significantly helping to stabilize the price we have improved the quality of the compactor and developed enhancements that makes it more effective in compacting plastics for recycling. A number of our customers were already using the Clydesdale for compacting cardboard.

KenBay also provides a stainless steel version of the Clydesdale trash compactor that is used extensively by companies in the food industry for their specific sanitary trash compactor needs.

The Wheelie Pack, similar in size and design to the Clydesdale trash compactor, differs in that it compacts the waste directly into a small dumpster. This distinct design is ideal where inside and outside space is at a premium and where front end and rear end loading garbage trucks are employed.

Beginning in 2006 KenBay began marketing a complete range of vertical balers. They are of European design where recycling plastics and cardboard existed long before it became so prominent in the US. The balers range in size from one producing a 120 lb bale to ones that produce bales that weigh in excess of 1,400 lbs. Their many unique features include larger apertures, powder coated paint, use of bale strap for safety along with other safety features and ease of installation and operation.
